oww guys...
Jaws is soo kwl. he lets me kiss and pat him and he clicks his beak in aproval when i do it. he's also showing the first minute signs of talking. like when there's music playing instead of screaching he'll rumble and mumble under his breath, and he'll respond when i say hello...
he isnt biting me much today, i hope this'll last! whenever i do something he dosnt like he'll lower his head to the ground and his eyes will pin and he'll growl under his breath, but he wont bite me unless i realy piss him off.
usualy when i try and pick him up he'll bite me viciously but now he just does that instead. i'm eating chips in bed and he flutters down from his cage to get a bite, i always throw him back before he can get at any but he just flys back for more. then i throw him bak in the general direciton of his cage and he always manages to land on it. even with only half a set of wings he can still fly good enough. well... good enuf for a first try.
I realy need to clip his wings soon cos he can fly pretty far, but it's just soo good having him flutter around a bit.
but i have to make myself do it! or he'll just fly across the streat while i'm taking him for a walk. just like he did last time. and he wont be so lucky when he hits a minivan...

Yoda hated it too. But they get over it quick. I got my mum to help hold while I did the clipping. I wrapped him in a towel and he was quite calm once I got him in the towel.
I do the first 5 primary flights on each wing. So it looks neatly tucked under. Here is a diagram..
This is Yodas wings..
I think next clip I will do one more primary flight on each wing because he still gets too much height.
