HELP!!! Is this normal breeding behaviour?

I have a green cock that is behaving aggressive towards my blue hen. He spends most of his time on the floor of the cage gathering the saw dust in a pile with his feet, he also spends a lot of time in front of the nest box looking in.
The worry I have is that he wont let my hen get off of the top perch and when she tries, he pecks at her. Also on several occasions he has pulled her off of her perch and drags her to the floor.
Should I be worried!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion I would clip the males wings and leave her full flighted so she can get away from him. This is very typical in mating behavior but keep an eye on them and pull her if he gets to aggresive. You don't want him to injure her. Maybe they have not had enough time to bond first or she just does not like him and never will bond to him. This happens!!

When is breeding season in the UK? Looks like the cock isn't overly too aggressive otherwise he'd be chasing her all over the cage, which would justify slightly trimming the male's primary flight feathers just to make her more mobile than him.

Anyway, looks to me like the male is trying to get her to nest on the ground... with him draggin her down there and making a pile of sawdust. Some IRNs do behave peculiarly, after all they are individuals. I would observe them further if you have the time, pay particular attention if she actually allows him to mount her during mating, or if they even feed each other. Otherwise, I hope you have another spare cockbird just so as to salvage your breeding season.

Breeding season in the UK starts around February.

The cock has his winged clipped so she remains more moblie, so we got something right.

How long does this sort of behaviour generally go on for
