Help, i need to know if my bird is sick.
Hello guys, my new ringneck (5 days) has been standing still (moving occasionally to eat) with his feathers fluffed up like this for about 2 days, he only straightens them whenever I get inside his cage to replace his food and water. I just wanted to know if this is a sign of a sick bird and if that's the case should I bring him to an avian vet? I don't want to traumatize him, he's already terrified of human hands in general, I am trying my best to not scare him and I can see I'm winning his trust slowly. I already love him and would do anything to make his life better.

i hope over time he is better it takes time for Young bird to settle down how is he now.
