My new baby! :D

Post by Melilott »

Hiya,

I finally got my new ringneck baby on Sunday. He's very shy at the moment so I have only been getting him out of his cage every few hrs for short periods (so far). Have been talking to him a lot though! He's gradually getting used to me. Been offering him fruit and vegetable treats as peace offerings during our cuddle times to hopefully get him to trust me. :)

Everyone, meet Ori! Image

He's named after my favourite dwarf from The Hobbit. <3

Hi, what a cutie you have there. So beautiful, cute and regal at the same time. Love the name, please post more pictures.

Thanks so much ^_^ I sure will! Just as soon as he is less nervous around me (don't want to freak him out) :) Maybe in the next few days...

I love how IRNs look as babies after their feathers come in and before the whites of their eyes start showing. Plus the cute baby noises they make! Sometimes I wish they could stay babies forever.
