Bad Wing Clip

Post by hyjameel »

I own an Indian Ringneck with a bad wing clip - secondary wings are also clipped. No blood was present during and after the clip. When will it start moulting? when will it finish? how long does it take? He is fed well - ZuPreem FruitBlend, and Beaphar Parrot Seed Mix. WHAT SHOULD I DO :?: :? :? :?:

Sorry but I do not clip my birds' wings so I have not had to deal with this. The only advice I can suggest is to be very careful letting the bird out. If he tries to fly he may crash. If he crashes he can do a lot more damage and you could end up with broken feathers and bleeding etc. How about uploading a picture or a more detailed description so that others, more knowledgeable than ,I have a better idea of what exactly is wrong. They might be able to suggest something more specific this way.
