IRN Baby Pics, Normal greens or something different?

Post by Feathered Friends »

My first ever IRN pair hatched out 3 babies beginning of January, are these normal greens or something different? 2 looked like normal greens to me and the 3rd looked olive colored. Thoughts? Also was wondering if my pair might nest again yet or usually just 1 clutch per season? Thanks!

Olivey one is Grey Green
The second is Green
Very nice.

Ringnecks can go second clutch esp. if young are pulled for handraising and pair is mature.
They would call it "WTB" & go again

Ok, thanks! Is grey green a more common color? What would a handtame/handfed baby go for?

GreyGreen is a combination of the Grey mutation and wildtype Green. as to how much they sell for- it depends on your location, for example in my area they sell for around the same as pet Greens and Blues
