My new Baby Girl (Quaker)

Post by Mikaela »

Punkin is as precious as she looks, Baby is sooo in love.

Yes, she is a tiny thing to be two but there are 4 different subspecies of Quakers and she is a:

Myiopsitta m. cotorra: Southeast Bolivia, Southwest Brazil to Paraguay, and Northern Argentina.

Simular to the colita but smaller and coloring is different... less or no yellow.

Cockatoos are gorgeous. But the work and the noise.... No way lol. I would love too have one but I've seen how demanding they can be. I'll stick with my IRN 8)

It keeps raining here in SW Florida and you'll need an ark and then you can have two of as many as you want. :?

So do we pray for rain so you get the birds? Or pray for it to stop so the mosquitos quit breeding and don't storm the state capitol and take over? :D

Or better yet lets start on the ark and not worry about the rain. We could build it big enough for all of us and our birds and the birds we want but don't have yet and just go for it!!!

Ok I'm dreaming, it's not drugs really.

That would rock... all of us on a big boat with as many animals as we want.

Mutany will be punishable by walking the plank.

NO Husbands allowed, if not for those we wouldnt need an ark.

I am so in love with this Baby. She us in between a tiel that does nothing but eat **** and blink her eyes and a crazy ringneck.

She is so sweet, loving, cuddly and gentle. OUT OF HER CAGE. Inside it, she dont know you and will bite the living **** out of you. But after a ringneck baby, most any bite is a joke.

What do I love most about my Punkin? She will lay in my blankie and cuddle like a kitty. She is laid back and wants to be with me sooo badly.

Baby is far too cool to ever seem 'needy' :? He REALLY is vain and thinks he is something else.

*hugs Matt*

Yeah, where were you when I was looking for a man, huh?

I got stuck with a non-animal lover that hide that fact until 'I do'.

Well, 'he did' so live with it! Or roll. Ask Kim, he always says no but I always get the bird. Takes a day or two to make it happen but its easier than 'just going and getting one'. That makes him resent the animal. Whereas, if I work him, he cant say no so he accepts it happily. Make sense? Does to Kim... She saw it. HA!

Cant expect a Native American not to have critters. I already left the rez... one thing at a time pale faces!

It does help to have your spouse like animals...the BF here knows how I am about my parrots and understands that they come first. I'll let him know about Aggie eventually LOL

Thats where I was too! But my school was 6 yrs long. Married in my last year (smart enough to know better than to give my life up for a man). Seems when woman marry, school falls to the wayside. I was NOT going to allow that to happen to me.

I needed a man like a needed a hole in my head.

Daggone it. -sigh-

Been married 4 yrs so I reckon it wont meant to be.

Here is Punkin, a few days settled in.
