All three ringnecks

Post by ringneck »

Got a video of all three ringnecks (Anikin, Archimedes, & Devri)--i am just messing around with them and spoon feeding them before bedtime. I spoon feed them in case they ever need meds from a vet--then there will be no need to restrain them  Besides, it's a great way for me to give them their extra vitamins & calcium, play the positive reinforcement game, and get a good laugh --and they think it's junk food...ha ha ha ha   8)

Best Wishes  ,

I had a huge smile on my face through the whole video.
Even bigger smile at the little one on the left doing pirouette over and over and over.

Ha ha ha! That's my boy Archimedes--he is always so eager to play these "fun" games--he really enjoys it. It's Anikin who refuses to play--he acts so pompous and arrogant--i swear he thinks his ring is a crown..ha ha ha ha ha

Thanks Tasha:)

Hi Imran

cool video. How long did it take to teach him that?

By the way, all very nice looking birds.

Regards

I loved the video Imran. Thanks for sharing. What smart, beautiful, healthy birds. The feeding from a spoon training is a great idea. I'm trying to train ours to be happy when being held in a towel to prepare for vet's visit but I'm finding it slow going.

It's Kaytee Exact:) I give them that for treats as it's filled with wonderful nutriants that can benefit them even though they are grown. I have always done that. I will take some mashed carrots too and they love that--but when warm. I want to be sure to give them their Vitamin A as most pet parrots don't get enough of this and calcium. So Kaytee Exact has so many nutrients plus more. Hope that helps:)

Best Wishes,
