has anyone who has an irn ever developed an allergy to it as i think i might have done but don,t want to get rid of her, any ideas of what i can do, i have read that bathing helps but she wont go near water except to drink and goes mad if we spray her

we have tried to get close to the cage, sometimes shes ok but other times shes flying round the cage and throwing herself on the bottom of the cage just trying to get away from us, we have held pieces of apple near her cage, we know that she likes it and she looks at it but wont come near it, when w...

was told that she was about 10 or 11 months old but not sure previous owners didnt bother with her because she was an unwanted gift

i have had my irn for about 3 weeks now, was hoping she would be used to us by now but we cant even walk past the cage without her flying around the cage in a panic, i have tried some of the things people have advised on the forum but doesnt seem to be working

her cage size is approx 4 feet high 3 feet wide and 2 feet deep

we havent got her any toys yet we were advised by the pet shop not to put any in just a kind of rope for her to chew on the previous owner had a cat not sure if thats the reason shes scared

i don,t know if she was an aviary bird we bought her from somebody who had been given her as a birthday present and didn,t want her, said she hadn,t bothered with her, she had a small cage and a twig which she had got from the garden for a perch, nothing in the bottom of the cage and no toys or anyt...

we have owned our irn for about 3 weeks now think she was mistreated by 1st owner we let her out to fly but we only get her back in her cage when she wants to eat or drink and we close the door, once she is back in she goes absolutely crazy trying to get out again trying to get the door open and try...
