Lola is really an untame birdie. But for the past week she's been taking food from my bf and mine fingers. Sometimes snappy sometimes gentle. I'm really proud of her for coming so far!

I'd be careful kissing my birds,hate for them to get a fright and bite my lip. Not to mention human saliva is a danger to birds,reguardless to clean teeth or not.

I don't know if I'm posting in the right place but Food dye is a household product. I'm not going to name the 3 Food dyes I have read up ALOT on them(I don't want to get myself into trouble) Certain ones contain E numbers which research has shown has caused cancer,tumours'rashes'ashtma to name a few...

Well I've brought some 100% natural dye. It's got E numbers in them which I don't know if they are toxic or not. It says 100% natural so they should be okay? Parrots are very clever, you've got to be one step ahead of them! My macaw learnt in two days screaming gets no attention from me. If he wants me he talks.

The vet said it was his liver malfuntion. She made it clear it was the breeders fault not mine as I blamed myself straight away. Can I give my IRN freshly homemade with parrot safe fruit and vegatable smoothies and juices? Just thinking as it would be a great way to get more healthy food into them in a way it is fun. We put the radio on smooth which is old songs nothing to dancy of heavy and she sings along. But she's only loud when were home I've never heard her once being loud when I've been walking home and she can't see me. Oh can they have that tea? I wouldn't know how to give it to her.
