Re: aggressive IRN

Thanks for the replies on here, Just thought I should give you an update on Indy. She is doing a lot better but still quite aggressive. She likes to dart at me whenever I am at the cage but, she does step up and come out now as opposed to coming out by her self. She knows the command no biting but I...

The Bluffing period should have been and gone but she still bites and launches at me whenever I am anywhere near her cage. Ey...

Hi there, Your story gives me hope with my Indy, I know I have spoken to you before about my problems with her and I have tried a few things you suggested but I have not yet been successful in stopping her biting and drawing blood, similar to you describe. Some how I think I must be doing something ...

Re: Behaviour change - help?

Are you sure your grey bird is a male?? It could be a female and going through the bluffing period. Apparently females are more likely to go through this. The noise certainly may have stressed it but it also could be co incidental that it is going through bluffing. I am certainly no expert, as many ...

Re: struggling to tame my irn...please help...

It's hard work and it takes patience...that's for sure. Are they hand raised or aviary birds? Mine is hand raised but she is going through the bluffing stage and is quite viscious!! I understand what you are going through. Maybe look through the forum for some training tips...it is very helpful here...

Re: Hi

Thank you, Sounds like some great ideas I can try, I haven't tried popcorn but will give it a go. She really can be so nasty, I was just wondering if it is always going to be like this. She is only pleasant when there is food on offer and as soon as she has finished that she lashes out at me again. ...
