Your baby ringneck is beautiful! I wish I had the opportunity to see my Lutino, Paddy as a baby, but unfortunately, he was bred in Ireland (I'm in England) and he was sent to us when he was about 10 weeks old, and how he has grown! The blue ringnecks always look gorgeous in my opinion. You should be...

Thanks for all your advice. My IRN is kept in a cage indoors and is let out when I get home from work in the afternoon, and then put away when I go to bed. Is it possible for my IRN to catch fleas if I do not have any cats or dogs that could harbour them? The reason I ask, is that I have been gettin...

Why Bite?
My Lutino ringneck, Paddy has become so well behaved over the last few months. When we first got him (He was nearly 3 months old) he used to lunge at us if we tried to take him out of his cage. He's now 14 months old. Since we moved house 3 months ago, he has been great. He would get on our hands as...

New Sounds!
Paddy has learned a new sound - when we say 'who's a pretty boy' to him, he copies the exacttone of our voices! He will do the noise then we do it back, he would carry on for hours if we kept copying him! Oh, and also, we had a bit of a scare recently that Paddy would be female when we though...

Paddy was a year old at the beginning of May, but we have had him since the end of July last year. He was hand reared and very vicious when we first got him, but something clicked in him a few months ago, and now he adores us! He's very cheeky, and we have to put him away in his cage while we are ea...

Finally talking!
My Lutino Ringneck, Paddy, has finally said his first word! My partner has a younger sister, age 6, called Laura. We moved house last week, so left Paddy with his family for the day while we got settled in. When we brought him home that night, his mum told us that he was saying what sounded like 'La...

Mating Season?
My Lutino Ringneck, Paddy has recently started doing some funny things! I've heard he does them because it's mating season. He pins his eyes so they are really small and pulls his wings away from his body and pulls his head right back. Then he 'headbangs', he bobs his head up and down for a while th...

My Lutino Ringneck, Paddy, is exactly the same. My partner and I are both away from home from 7.30 in the morning until 6 at night and Paddy seems completely unaffected by it. In fact, he really is pleased to see us when we get in, but trusts us both like we were his real parents. Try and handle Aus...

Hi doremon....... I have a Lutino Ringneck called Paddy, and he sounds exactly like your IRN! He was very wary of my partner and myself when we first got him in July of this year. He was 2 months old when we got him, hand reared from a relative and has only just become confident enough to get off hi...

My bird's diet
My partner and I bought a Lutino Ringneck about four months ago from a relative who hand rears a variety of different birds. My ringneck is very tame, and has recently taken to trying his very hardest to steal mine or my partner's food when we are eating next to his cage! We don't mind this at all, ...

My Bird Bites!
My Lutino rinneck, Paddy, is a lovely young bird with a cheeky, yet friendly personality. My partner and I got him, hand reared, from a relative about 4 months ago now. When we first got him, he bit us if we went near him, and wouldn't even come out of his cage. He has competely changed now, and lov...

My Ringneck, Paddy
I have recently bought a bright yellow male ringneck called Paddy. He has a lovely cheeky personality and loves attention but has a tendency to bite if he doesn't get his own way. I can't find any websites or pictures of yellow ringnecks anywhere though!!
