Always infertile 4th egg
I have a pair of violet ringneck and for the last three years they laid 4eggs but every three times 3 chicks hatched from the 4 eggs .Any body tell me why the 4th egg is always in fertile ?

I have experienced that having two pairs in a aviary. All was going well they both lay,hatched and now the chicks of both the pairs are about 4 weeks old suddenly the Moms started fighting each other.So it is not advisable to kept two pairs in one aviory.Now i have to seperate them.My aviory size is...

The heads of chicks are not showing any YELLOW pigments at this stage.However one person here told me that only male chicks will change their head color to yellow at the age of about 18 to 24 months.Is it true? I have noticed my birds the Male has grey markings on the end of flight feathers and the female has not.
Now whats the position.The pictures you provided are much similar to my female.

HELLO TO EVERYBODY,
I am new here .I want to know that i have a pair of YELLOW LACEWING IRN.I bought it from market.This season they breed at my place and i was astonished to see that all three offsprings are normal GREEN and they are now 5 weeks old.Whats the reason behind that.......?
