Well we have 3 chicks hatched..... but still have 3 eggs left we havnt had an egg hatch for the past 4 days....... 2 of the eggs are cracked like they are going to hatch but they have been like that for 3 days.... any ideas anyone...

My hen is in a shaded area no sun gets near the cage.... She was at the pet shop for 2 months and they only feed seed.... since we bought her home. on a daily basis her diet is dried fruit and nuts as well as fresh fruit and veg as well as boiled egg once a week.... cuttlebone is always in her caage...

She only feeds some mornings, I THINK THAT SHE FEEDS ALL THE PIGGYS first then nothing left for the little bub..... but they are all doing great.....

I could try to make up a brooder only i feel the chick has a better chance with the natural heat from the nest box... also the chick is still being well fed from mum she's just not getting fed the first feed in the morning other than the morning feed the chicks crop is fuller than i fill it.. Just wanted to let you know. option 1 ..... we didnt have any way to keep chick warm so opted not to go with no 1 option 2 we dont have any other chicks to place him with... Option 3 take other chicks out for 30 mins.... we tried that and mum stressed out she didn't feed the alone chick.. SO we didn...

Hi, we have placed our ringneck chicks rings on and the next day every chich lost the ring.... we had a bit of trouble placing them on the leg as it was such a "tight fit" over the knuckle... im afraid if we leave it another day or two we wont get the rings on they are growing so fast.... ...

Hi we need some advise we have 5 healthy chicks only 4 are well fed and the last to hatch is so tiny it's struggling to get fed through the stronger chicks he's less than half the size of the others... not sure what to do but i had to take him out to feed him.. his crop was totally empty... fed egg ...

We are Waiting impatiently for our eggs to hatch its been about 24 days now.... How much longer should it be before they start hatching out.. mum is still busy hardly see her dad sleep in with her at night......

Can you's advise on the best way to avoid this happening re best nesting materials or whatever we may need to know

we have two breeding pairs in one aviary one pair has laid all her eggs and all's well... so far.... just wanting to know if there will be a problem with the other pair or should we remove them?

We have just put a good breeding pair together in a cage with a breeding box the hen is in and out of the box all the time throwing out what she doesn't want... can you tell me if we are to late or can she still lay this season. we are in qld australia
