Ok thanks i think i have it sussed, that video really helped with the whole fork testing thingie. Well the chicks are now 4 weeks old and ive taken them from the nest, Do you think it will be harder to hand raise them becasue theyr older? how to mix kaytees
hi there, my alexandrines age between 25 - 29 days old. I just wanted to know how many tabblespoons of the handrearing formula do i mix with how many mls of water?

Handrearing alexandrine schedule
Hi there, i currently have 4 alexandrine chicks in the nest, the oldest one being about 28 days old and the youngest being about 23 days old. Would this thime schedule work?

And also, does the water nead to be boiled to kill the bacteria? or is tap water fine

hey i have a breeding pair of alexandrines and its only the start of winter here and its not like 2 months till breeding season and my dad rekons he saw them mating.
so should i just put the nestbox in?

hi i noticed that my new alexandrine male has a few red patches of red on his chest. i have seen this before in lutino ringnecks having red patches around the wings.
so what does this mean? maybe vitamin defficient.

Hi, i currently have a pair of alexandrines in my aviary and im going to get another pair, how would i introduce the new pair into the alexandrine aviary? this is just temporary till i get another aviary sorted out for the new pair.
