pictures of Rainbow

Hi Everyone,, been a few months since being here! Rainbow is doing incredible,, he is getting new feathers right and left. We have not regretted adopting him for a single moment. He was skinny and bald when we got him in Jan,, now he is fat, fluffy and very very happy :-) http://i725.photobucket.com...

regurgitateing

ok, i feeling like i am making a nusiance of myself asking so many questions. But i would rather ask then not know. Rainbow keeps regurgitating when he sits on my shoulder or my daughters,,, he kisses you then 'shares' with you. Is this somewhat ok? And i know this is going to sound weird but I thin...

Oh thank you so much. We adopted Rainbow 2 days ago. He is a rescue bird who had plucked out his feathers due to neglect and no interaction, toys etc. It is wonderful to hear that the beak grinding is a sound of contentment. He is still in the white fuzzy stage of his regrowth but we think he is bea...

beak and feet

Rainbow really preens and cleans his feet A LOT. Is this ok or should I watch to make sure it does not turn into chewing? He also grinds his beak loudly. Guess I am not use to this bigger louder sounds. Our cockatiel Maggie is a quiet little girl LOL

Thanks!!

We brought Rainbow home yesterday and we are hoping we are helping him adjust and settle. He likes sitting on my and my daughters shoulder and giving kisses, cooing and purring. He says "Rainbow Pretty Boy" to get your attention. However he climbes circles around his cage and we open the d...
