i use the small parrot mix as well and twice a week i give them mixed vegies the frozen one form the supermarket out of the 14 ringnecks they take 1kg at one serveing fruit they get what ever the wife buys at the fruit shop oranges they love but they dont like banannas but all others they devour it

it is so good to have the proper name for the irn i have some nice ones all colours BUTseeing i am a bit colour blind i think we should just call all of them mild grey with white in there somewhere . lol well they still look pritty good to me .

i have just aquired 2 king parrots unfortunely both of them are male they are said to be young belive to be 7 months they were going to be let go but i was given the 2 of them there were 4 but i could only take 2 but as you can see both male anyone close to me want to swap male for female never trie...

i have a pair of aussie ringnecks (port lincion ) i am trying to breed not haveing much luckthey are in a big flight cage have a choice of 3 nesting boxes plenty of food all types seed,fruit,vegs etc but after 16 months no luluck yet are these birds hard to breed or am i just not doing it wright any...

Thanks for the tip to stop her from laying anymore eggs you dont take the babies away from the nest till when? That is if you do not take the babies away to stop them laying is this confusing it is to me sorry

well this is the first time for me i have 4 baby ringnecks nearlly 5 weeks old will be trying to wean them soon but the parents of these babies have just layed more eggs is this what happens and do they keep laying if you take the babies out early to hand rear
