maybe try getting a container (doesn't have to be anything flashy) and putting some food in it and moving it to the opposite side from the original bowl. See if Skye stops Ani from eating from both. It's not like Skye's simply not letting Ani get to it when he's eating, but more like Skye will climb down from the play gym just to chase Ani away and then climb back up. Made some real progress tonight Worked out that if I make a fist and he cant really see my fingers he gives a wee nibble, then when i nudge him he steps up with no treat, and then is getting rewarded. Think that is the mistake I was making, letting him see the treat before getting him to step up......

I just gave Ani a couple syringes full (it's the size of a diabetic syringe) of hand feeding stuff. Now he's fast asleep. That was him begging for food. I also cuddled him afterwards now he seems a lot happier. :D Thanks everyone.

It was pretty warm. I'm not a very good judge of exact temperature though. :D It was as warm as it normally is when Skye likes to get in. It wasn't too hot. It definitely wasn't at all cold either.

I think what you're experiencing is why some say it's bad to include treats in the train process. I didn't give treats to Skye when I was taming him.

Not sure how to go about fixing this though. Good luck!

Just to let you know, I have always found that lutino IRN are very slender and lean naturally, just my experience. They seem to be a much slighter bird than the blue and green, especially the females. :wink: Ohh good i feel better. Something about Ani says female. I'm sending in the test kit today....
