i got my ringneck when he was over 2 and he was wild. I hardly ever get bitten he will come sit with me i can kiss him touch his beak sometimes and he will step up onto my arm or hand. i dont think it is ever too late to tame a bird

i think the same thing happened to kieron but i think it was while the person was either wearing gloves or using a towel coz hes starting to get there with hands (still no touching but he will take food from me) but the minute i even try to fold towells in the same room as him he will scream at me ...

It can vary you might have to be prepared to do it for a long while. Billy realised after a few days that i am boss and he does as i say because he bullied me quite bad for weeks
