Re: Mario Chilling on his Back (Taming)
They're side by side all day, They're fine when caged or near each other, But once one gets too close the invader gets attacked, Both of them start fights too which makes it difficult to isolate the problem. Maybe it's the fact that i had gene for almost a year before i got rio so now gene's too clo...

Thanks for your kind words subodhhire I've recently got him to stop biting me now, Even though he never bit much out of aggression he would just bite my finger and keep biting harder out of curiosity. He now knows i don't like biting but also knows it has no effect on me when he does decide to bite....

Thanks a lot for your reply Mol. My local vet is very inexperienced, at least with birds anyway. Thanks for your reply ellie, very informative. I'll try what you said in those other posts aswell as the supervised play time. Re: First time owner needs some advice please :)
Hello Teresa, Clipping your birds wings is a large part of bird ownership, It's one of the first decisions you make after choosing it :) You have to look at it from your own personal view: Will i want to walk around with the bird outdoors? Will my bird be primarily indoors, etc. Clipping wings is a ...

Re: Sudden Aggression
The best thing you can do, Although it's very difficult to do - is to show your bird that biting has no effect on you at all. My bird was a biter too, To counter the biting i simply let him bite, Sure they hurt and it was difficult to do, often drawing blood. But now my bird knows that biting is not...

Hey guys, This morning i was asleep and at about 5:50am my birdy was doing her normal chirping to wake me up.
