*Giggle* thanks ed. Can't wait for Florida, especially hugging my little American God Son, miss him terribly and he is talking now 3 years old. mutantninja thanks for the info I'll take it onboard. in about three days, Mickey and kai's eggs should start hatching. Thats if they are fertile. I never did get up the guts to handle and candle the eggs. Next season when Mickey is more tame and I have a better more accessable nesting box and area, i will learn to do that. So fingers crossed I will be...

My birds LOVE peppers of any kind, even the hot chilli peppers, they don't feel the burn we do, no saliva and all to cause a reaction. Just don't kiss them after they have been hoeing into a chilli .. OUCH ! ! !

And I got to check on her eggs.. Four of them still in tact all clutched together .. I wish she wasn't so wild and scared.. sure would make it easier to check on things.. so if the 3rd egg was laid 2nd september the 4th would have been on the 4th and now its the 7th .. so where do I count the 23 day...

I think they slim off and become more sleek and defined as they mature. Thats what I am noticing is happening with Jordan anyway. Maybe its just the baby bird adult bird thing you are seeing.

Yes darling they were at that stage. Jordan is still clipped, but brinly has his flight back now. When budgies are clipped they still have enough flight to get around, just not get good lift.
