IRN Question

I've been doing lots of reading on this site. It seems everyone is posting IRN's are biters and untamable. Is this true. I am putting a deposit on one tomorrow but am worried now ugh

Re: New and First time Ringneck owner

Welcome! Good thing this baby has you. Once pushed out of the nest parents won't normally accept them back :(
This one should be good and tame as your getting to hand feed :)

Re: I'm going to buy a 3 month old ringneck parrot.

Welcome :)

I just placed a deposit on a blue. I decided to do a Dan so I could come up with a name before he/she gets here. Anxiously waiting. Good luck with which ever you choose.

Re: My 8week old baby IRN not eating well

Was your baby hand fed? Did they have you continue some hand feeding at home? What are you offering to your baby for meals? 8 weeks seems a bit young unless you were going to finish up the hand feedings?

Re: Newbie

From what I've heard most IRN's are not cuddly but love to be on your shoulder however remember every bird is different. Keep up the good work. Keep talking :) he/she will pick it up.
