wow nice pics, Sam looks very happy, congratulations.... as for the sex i would say it´s a male, it looks like there r some black feathers around its neck.. what do u think?

Now Sam is 1 year and 11 months. and I am confused about his her sexuality! Not sure if he is a boy or girl.

heh, not surprised your confused about it sexually, sexing ringnecks, despite common and regular topics / information about them, people seem to just love trying to ask the same question over and over lol.

I know my Skye is a boy. He's only ever done the male mating dance. There's a good video of a male dance somewhere on here. Females have a dance too. Males strut with their wings half out, making their bodies heart shaped. Females hunker down flat, hold their heads straight up, and make a clucking sound.

My IRN does that, but without a clucking sound. He/she also opens the wings in heart position, but not while doing a male dance.
