we think our ring neck is plucking feather from his wings.............. he seemed to be happy has plenty of , toys ect, we still cant get close to him, so keeping talking to him n giving him loads of attention ectwe llet him out to fly about, so not sure why hes doing it.
please help we worried we doing something wrong...


could this be anything to us taking his mirror off him though we did this over a mth ago , we just put him in a new cage 2day that when we noticed his wings as got him in his transport cage to transfer him over into new cage....

I would take him to the vet first to rule out any health issues, then if there are not health issues then talk with the vet to see if there may be behavioral reasons for plucking. It can be stress, a new place, or anything-but rule out health issues first.
