we got ourselves a second irn, Nietzsche(don't ask, we like names like that)
but Hugo(our first IRN) doesn't seem to be amused with this new roommate, as soon as Nietzsche comes too close to Hugo his eyes start to pin and he lunges at him(or her)...we don't know the sexes of both of them. he doesn't bite but it's more like some kind of warning, but he keeps warning Nietzsche, any advice on what to do or does anyone of you here have experiences with new birds joining the family?
thanks in advance!

Nietzsche huh? Ok i know the solution, but
you should have seperated the birds into
diff rooms the first few days or at least a week.
Reason is that they would become interested
over time hearing each others calls, so wen
they start looking around for each other they
get excited, then you introduce. Try it over.

U. S marine I just added a little bit to your post, hope you don't mind.

You really needed to separate them and slowly adjust them to each other. After you should place them side by side in the cage. So they get used to each other. I hope they are not in the same cage. You should have a second cage for him and not rush things. You can never make them get along. They will or they won’t. It’s up to them but you have a better chance at slowly getting them used to each other.
