hey well the alex pairs have 3 eggs to one and 4 eggs to the other the ringnecks are just starting to lay. the first alex pair's eggs should be hatching in the next week or so just wondering if any of you feed them anything special while they are feeding their young? should they be getting any special diet or supplements?
also could any of you post some pics of the setup you have for your babies when you pull them, we'll be pulling them at 3 weeks.
thanks

the girl should be getting extra calcium. Making eggs saps her body of calcium. If you don't see her eating the cuttle bone, then maybe some sort of liquid calcium in the water should work. I'm no breeder, but this is what I've read elsewhere.

feed them some things like paw paw/ papaya, corn on the cob, capsicum ect. The main thing is to check several times a day to make sure they always have food, they go through a fair bit.
