Does anyone elses flighted birds take off and dive down as if flying an inch off the ground, then suddenly lift vertical to perch? Both mine do this. Ive seen alot more aerobatics lately in them, its like they are competing to impress each other with crazy flying! Jibby mimics everything Lola does. She takes off and Jibby follows the exact movement when flying. Its fun to watch! They kinda remind me of a falcon or bird of prey flying down to snatch its prey!

hehehe Spits going crazy atm flying around from room to room. i think hes liking the fact that his wing feathers have grown back fully. he rarely goes close to the floor though.
We let Charlie Parker's flight feathers grow back and it is amazing just how accurately he can fly now--the other night he made an air raid on the dinner table flying through a 7" railing opening without even brushing a wingtip then grabbing a midflight mouthful of lasagne and making a perfect landing on his perch to enjoy his guilty little feast.
