Hello new member

Hi all
New to the forum and to owning a ringneck. I have a beautiful African ringneck who I just adopted from a not so great situation. She is untamed and scared of hands. I was there to see a canary winged parakeet and she apparently had been his cagemate. So I left with them both. This was all of 4 days ago. I will be absorbing any and all information. I am hoping to help her over come her fear of people. I also hope to find another African ringneck to keep her company. We are from Long Island New York.
