Got a few questions for you guys.I have a Blue Cock and a Cream Albino Hen.Both are around the same age so I was told when I bought them(I believe them since the Male doesn't have a ring yet and the female was just weened(Ate solid foods from the bowl but still begged for hand feeding.....Talk about spoiled!).About what age should I put a nesting box on the cage.Should I put one inside the cage or cut a hole in the side and mount it outside on the side?Which size box should I get.Petco here has 3 sizes.Small(Fench it looks like) medium which looks about Tiel size and large which I am leaning towards cause it has a large hole. The large is around 10 long,8 wide, and 10 tall. Also, any idea what Color chicks I might end up with?Unknown blood lines of these 2 other than I made sure I got a pair from different parents.

Don't know what colors you would come up with thats Jeremy's thing but you should wait till their about 2 years old. The nest box should be placed on the outside of the cage so it's easier to check eggs and chicks. The larger one you mentioned is fine. Good luck and keep us posted.

Donna :D

thanks

By Cream Albino do you mean Albino or Creamino?

Blue Cock x Albino Hen
=Blue/Ino Cocks
=Blue Hens

Blue Cock x Creamino Hen
=Blue/Ino Cocks
=Turquoise/Ino Cocks
=Blue Hens
=Turquoise Hens

Let them breed when they are 2 years old, although, they probably won't reed until they are 3.
All my boxes are inside the cages. I wouldn't mind haing them on the outside but i don't have room to build walkways to my aviaries.
