My new baby...

Okay its not a IRN, but he is still a feathered friend. I just got him last Sunday and I couldn't wait to share his mug shot with all of you.

I had never heard of a white faced tiel. I posted on Freecycle that I wanted to get another bird because I had a large empty parrot cage sitting empty. The guy emailed me and said they had a 4 y/o whtie faced tiel they wanted to find a home for as they had too many pets. I told him I was definately interested and i picked up this little guy that evening. He is soooo sweet and flys to my shoulder every chance he gets. I clipped his wings but he still does pretty good at flying. I don't think they had ever clipped his wings. The entire way home he wolf whistled. His cage sits next my IRN cage and he woof whistles at my IRN paco too.

Aren't they the greatest? There is nothing like snuggling near a tiel and listening to those happy chirps...
