Our 2 babies have started fighting alot these past 2 or 3 days. They pin their eyes and lung at the other. It's not always the same bird that does this but they seem too change, one minute its Robin and a while later it's Karlsson. They have these noises that seem too aggrevate the hell out of the other. As soon as one does these sounds the other comes over and lunges at the "singer". Is this behavior normal, they are 5 months old and siblings.

I'm thinking that we need too seperate them for a while and see if it gets better if we reunite them after a week or so.

If anybody here has had this problem please let me know, we don't want them too hurt eachother and we don't want too sell one either. We love our babies and want too keep them and see them grow too be handsome IRN's

Yep I'd say seperate the two and let them have their own space. IRNs are not knows for sharing very well

In different rooms too must be the best

i wouldnt say seperate rooms,try seperate cages so they dont hurt eachother.

I have 2 irns and when i brought my second one home they tolerated each other for a few months. They now do not like each other. They constantly lunge at each other and beak each other. It's crazy. I've never caged them together but they are in the same room and close to one another's cage. They try to fight from the cages, or on the play stand. Silly birds. I'm told they're just trying to establish dominance and to let them go. As long as they are lunging just for beaks. No feet. If they go for feet it's to hurt the other. Well mine just go for beaks. And the noise you say yours make, probably the same mine do. Funny little birds. Good luck!

We are building a bigger cage for them this week and we hope that will make it better. If not, we will build a second cage
