HI there I was wondering how i'd breed out a pied blue, those guys are autosomal recessive correct?

How would it work if I have a blue male? or would he have to be a split for pied ?
Also what does it mean if I have a blue with blue iris ?

To breed a blue ADM pied you would need to have the pied gene .
ADM pied is ressive . IE you would need the gene in both parent birds
Blue/ Pied , blue pied or green/blue/pied .
As you can see there are many roads that lead to Rome , The question is what can you find and what can you afford .

A blue bird with blue iris = strange and keep it for your breeding stock
