Hey,

So I noticed that Peaches has something in one of her nostrils. It looks grey, like down or dust or something? I read that parrots have operculums in their nares which help prevent foreign stuff from entering, but I can't tell if it was there before or not, as I only just noticed it.

She seems to be sneezing more than usual too, but with either no discharge or just thin/clear/watery discharge.

I tried to get a picture, but it was hard to get a clear view of the nares - will try again with natural sunlight later.

Do your ringnecks' nares have something in them, or do the nares just look like small empty holes?

I think I can see a sort of membrane just under the opening

my bird recently was opening his beak real wide the other day and moving his head around funny.. then the started scratching his nostril and something came out lol.. it was tiny, but it seemed to fix the problem

i took it as a little allergy was bothering him.. maybe that's all yours has.. a little cold maybe

but don't take my word for that
