I managed to capture some pics of little miss. For some reason she chose to bathe in the water dish on the bench, rather than the large dish right near it.

Please excuse our chaotic kitchen bench!

She looks like a Princess IME

Here are some pics of how she'd look if she was a male
{bare in mind this (being SL Edged) is the only mutation in IRNs where females look different (lighter) then sf males}.

Ringo, thanks for sharing, what a gorgeous colour! That is quite a lot darker. That's a fascinating mutation.
She is a little princess, though still a rather clumsy one.

but then, the pic of your chick would be irrelevant..? ps- my chick and intheair's chick are of the same age just about-

I have asked another edged breeder about my chick, and they have said that sf males are slightly lighter than Wildtype, not much difference between them- which is inline with what we already know.
I have asked to see a pic of his Green sf edged cock intogether with a Wildtype so I could see a comparison between his- I am yet to see this difference (whatever it is) from a different bloodline.

let's discuss over here- so not to take away from Clare's thread

Hmm... so are there completely different edged lines?

Missk and Alpha, thanks. Since adding the second bird we have lost the battle to keep the house tidy! The little princess takes mess making to a whole new level that Nila has never even gotten near. I think I need to tie the vacuum cleaner to her tail. ...

I do not know the answer- Need more breeders (of edged) input/photographic data.

I see. I just looked over the edged thread, you have just asked my next question, so I'll keep lurking on that thread too.
