ill bet not they are way to different. iv heard of an indian ringneck breeding with a derbyan(mustache) but they are way more closely related as far as a species
wich puzzles me because a derbyan unlike most birds gives birth to live young while a irn lays eggs so i wonder if the mom was a derbyan or irne ill bet it had to be a irn the baby looked more like a irn

What? No they dont Derbyans lay eggs like EVERY bird!
Derbyans are to a Moustache what an Alexandrine is to a Ringneck. They are bigger versions with very similar looks.
As far as crossing Quaker with IRN.... why would you even want to?

sorry about the miss info.

i figured how some reptiles give birth to live young it made sense to me that a bird might too. on this site
http://www.ruffledfeathersaviary.com/index.html
it has a female derbyan for sale and in the description says they are sexually mature at 4 yrs and give birth to live young send hate-mail for embarassing me

*urge to kill rising*
and i thought they were the same because on lovebirds community plus somebody posted pics of what they called a mustache but looked identical to a derbyan to me
i guess i should double check everything with a second opinion/sorce before i start blabing away

*urge to kill falling, RISING!, falling, falling, gone*
