overdue eggs

hi this is my 1st time on site . i have 2 pairs of irns , 1 pair have been sitting on 2 eggs for 27 days now . how long should i leave it?????

If you have access to the nestbox, when hen leaves the nest go & inspect the eggs.
by now they should be quiet dark, even against the sun you should be able to tell if eggs are fertile.
you could also use a torch shine underneath the egg, if clear throw away, they might go down again.
If unsure put them back.
I would not be too concern because incubating could have started later, the hen could sit in the nestbox days before starting to incubate.

thanks for your help, the eggs are very dark, i shall leave them alone.
