4 week old IRN

Hi All,
I am Ian from Malta and I'm new to this site and to IRNs. I bought a blue and white 4 week old IRN 5 days ago and am currently hand rearing it myself. I was wondering if anyone could point out what should I be careful of and what are the advantages / disadvantages of having an IRN at such a young age. Will it bond and be friendly? Is there a guide I can follow regarding wearing it off or maybe diet?
