think the waiting time is about 2 weeks, not sure how many posts you also need to put a pic up, but you can pm me and I'll help get a pic up for you in the meantime.

You can get the spammy message if you are trying to post pics or links in your post. You have to do a certain number of posts and be a member for a minimum length of time before you can post links or images. It's an anti-spam feature as we were getting a lot of link spam and some pornographic pictures at one point.
