My boyfriend and i are first time indian ringneck owners. up until now we have only owned Zebra finches. our parrot "Dino" lives next door to our Zebra Finches. He has always been very vocal but recently began to experiment with new sounds. I can only describe it as "R2D2" from star wars could he be trying to mimic or talk to the zebra finches?

Its a possiblity that you're right and he is just talking to the finches but from what
I have heard Indian ringnecks have been record to make about 1000 different sounds(:

haha im really enjoying all the sounds he makes, also assures me that hes happy The zebbies are always singing, so i figured hes trying to pick up on the lingo . also when we let him out for a fly around the house he flys straight onto there cage and watches them from above, sometimes he will climb down the side and say hello to him.
