horny-male syndrome???

this is a copy of a post on the other board.
so ive got a slight dilemma with my breeding pair, iggy (hen) and ike (male). They were together 6-8 months before the breeding season, got along quite happily most often ignored each other as iggy hadnt been used to bird company for a while. During the breeding period, nature ran its course, and ike proved a vigilant father, bringing iggy food while she sat the eggs.
A few days after they hatched, ike killed one of the babies (which had happened a previous year with a different hen) and we had to seperate him in a smaller cage while the chicks were with iggy. We've now taken over the parenting role and put ike back in the aviary with iggy, however, he will not leave her alone.
Since being back in he dives and bombs her relentlessly, not allowing her to feed or barely move from the top corner of the aviary. Its been several days of this and its quite stressful for her, and for us watching. Im assuming he's attempting to go for a round 2, but we've removed the breeding box from the cage. We've now seperated him from her again, which isnt really ideal in the long term and we do want to put them back in.
help please??
