Indii Rainbow
I think Indii Rainbow will love my son Kisho the best! She loves sitting with him on his hand or head, and loves giving her wings a good flap. He calls her his mobile air conditioning!!
Excuse the blurriness I forgot I had my focus on Manual when I went to quickly capture this, will try and get a better shot next time we bring her out

Hi Twippa
Gorgeous photos. Nice young man you have there too!
I wondered how IRNs would be with kids - we don't have any yet.

Re: Exercising her wings!!
Hey ellieelectrons! Well I had a look around and chose a breeder both close to me and who had raised her babies with young kids, so while Indii is still adjusting to our family she has been raised around young kids, which makes it easier.
I still observe that she takes in the level of confidence of the kids though, which is why Kisho is the only one who is handling her at the moment, he is interested and confident, even when Indii bit his ear today he was totally calm and brave, the other two are a bit apprehensive so I am just keeping Indii out of contact with them until she is more familiar with our family and home. They both are happy to feed her beans through her cage and both them and her enjoy that so at this stage I think that is enough

shes pretty it looks like she has eyeshadow on.
Re: Exercising her wings!!
It depends on the irns and the kids personality and what they are used to. one of my babies is going to a 9 and a 6yr old. The chic has been going over for visits and we took them away camping where there was over 10 kids who all got to have a play with them and were taught how to handle them properly. If you get kids that think they can just go and grab them and happen to scare the bird I dare say they would get a nasty bite.ellieelectrons wrote:Hi Twippa
