About a month ago I brought home my new Indian Ringneck. At the time I believed I was purchasing a lovely little boy called Elvis. I soon found out I had brought home what I thought to be a horrible feisty biting little girl which I soon named Marcy. At first I thought I had made a horrible mistake being a first time bird owner and very inexperienced in caring for difficult birds. But things changed as I got to know her more... I learned that she loves 'kisses' which means she likes preening my face and mouth. She also likes to make poopie noises (a noise that sounds like a fart), wolf whistle and mimic my dogs and wild birds. She still won't let me pat her but I'm hoping that she will in time.
I'm now SO glad that I stuck with her, she's a perfect little girly and I love her to bits!
