sick bird? please help

I got a wild IRN yesterday it was away from its flock and unable to fly. It was standing in the street so I got it to trust me and climb into my hand. It was ok after I fed it watermelon then this morning it enjoyed running up my shirt onto my shoulder . Now it is inactive and nearly always has its eyes closed and periodically chirps. Does not eat as much anymore either. Is it sick?

Good to hear you have rescued it! I think a vet check wouldn't hurt just to see if it is sick. As it does sound like it might be a little unwell.
