Male chasing the female!

Male chasing the female!
Hi, I have a breeding pair of Lutino IRNs and the female had laid a clutch of four eggs but they were infertile. I recently pulled the eggs and the nestbox to give her a rest. Since last night the male has been acting aggressive towards the female chasing her around. She holds her own, trust me! But usually it is her he is afraid of. I am new at this. Should I put the nestbox back up? Is this unusual or just part of IRN behavior? I was told they had successfully reared a clutch together in the past. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you! If it continues I will. They seem calmer today. They are very entertaining birds. I bought them a new toy and a foraging tray and they are quite enamored with them. Very active and vocal!
