My birds on druugs!

Post by Leeroy »

We have recently homed an alexandrine parrot with my baby boy!!
My Lutino ringneck is only about 7 months old. We believe he is a male, but hes too pretty to be a male :)
The new member, we are not sure how old he is, been told about 14 months. Hes got a faint black ring forming.

We slowly weaned them together and they love each other lol cant leave each others side.

The point of my story is my ringneck is doing a wierd dance. He pins his eyes and bobs his head around, then walks closer to my alexandrine.

Anyone know what the hell hes doing?

my ringnecks do the same dance to each other. I have a female about 18 mnths old and a male about 10 months old. the famale does the dance to the male...even looks like she feeds him! but he doesn't like it so tries to bite her. sometimes he does it to her, but not very often. I have been told its thier mating dance, and the younger male is to immature to know what it is all about....bless them.
