Both your new baby girl and Amazon are looking adorable. What happened to the poor baby's legs?

Thanks guys

My little girl was born with a disolcated hip, so she had an opertaion to get teh hip back in place, she is in plaster to keep the ball and socket together, we have another 5 weeks to go hopefully, then she will go into a harness to help her ease into using her legs so she doesnt get excited and kick her leg pulling hte ball out of hte socket again.

I have a video to show you aswell: bear in mind Amazon HATES kids
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQwdWRfe ... annel_page

Hope you enjoy, in the video Amazon isnt hurting the baby at all.

:D You have adorable babies!!! Your daughters going to be a heart breaker.

I was too born with a dislocated hip, but was never put in plaster. :( For that, I still get the occasional noticable 'click' of my hip slightly dislocating, people around me comment, it hurts for a second, but usually I can pop it back in within a couple of seconds. Well, atleast thats what I think happens! Running was never an option for me. (apart from just being a slow runner) my hip would pop if I ran to fast.
Ive lived with it all my life, no one really seems to think its a problem, doctors just seem to ignore it, but in my 'adult' years its getting more frequent. So Im a little confused as to why no one seems to think its a problem?
Aparently I was told I had an option of having it fixed in my teens. But never did.
So its great that you had your daughters hip in plaster. Much better now than in her teenage years just before her bones are fully developed.
