Hi, I'm New

Hello, i'm new
I'm about to buy a baby Ringneck so i've joined to get some info etc; as i've never had a ringneck (though i've owned many cockatiels, budgies & also have 2 rainbow lorikeets)..
So any help would be appreciated

Hi Lauren16, welcome

Have you picked out your baby irn yet?

There is heaps of info here on things such as "bluffing", training, what to feed and not to feed etc, if you do a quick search.

Since you have already owned a few different breeds of birds, you are half way there. I think the biggest hurdle, (for me anyway) is getting through the bluffing stages. Can be a very trying time for bird and owner.
There is alot of info on different things you can try to help this time pass.

I have picked out a baby i'm not sure if his owner is a member of this forum so i'll ask permission before i post a pic of him/her she took.
I'm trying to read up on as much stuff on them before i get my new bird.
I'll try doing a search on bluffing

Think i got it figured out what i'll feed..
The Bluffing Stage is what i'm most worried about, i want to make sure i handle it corectly coz i want him to love me not hate me (lol)

Welcome Lauren16, another Lauren for the site .. woohooo .. can't have too much of a good thing.

Can't wait to see pics of the new baby when you get it. Best thing to do is use the search function here at the top of the page and search keyword, bluffing, you will find an amazing amount of info and past experience with this issue.
