Talking so soon?

Post by MrsVanPelt »

My lutino is only two months old and I think he's already picking up on talking. Not actual words, but chirps that mimic what I say.

Every time I take him out of his cage I say "Step up". Well for the last day every time I do it he chirps twice at the same rhythm I say "Step Up". Then last night when I put him to bed I said "Good Night" and he did two chirps in the same rhythm.

Is this just coincidence or is he possible picking it up already? I know his foster Mom did the same commands/ said the same things I do so he's been hearing it his whole life.

My boy use to do that too, but he didnt start talking till he was bout a year old. I think its just the noise they like and they are letting you know they got your message and are responding to the words
