mirrors in cages

Will a mirror in a cage delay young birds talking or is this myth nonsense?

Spit used to talk to his mirror. he used to call it "toy". he got a bit too obsessive with it though so we had to take it away. i dont think it will stop them talking

i dont know about in the cage but general chitters to the big mirror in our loungeroom & riku displays to it clucking dancing &saying hello riku hello kieron
kieron hasnt figured out the fasination with mirrors yet

Billy has always had a mirror in his cage from the day we had him and he talks and learns new words

I think its a personal prefence with mirrors, i dont have one in Ami's cage but we have a big one in the hallway where he gets mirror and him time where he displays to it and gets excited over it, Ami talks fine
