Has Tango had a change in diet? Maybe he has eaten something that doesn't agree with him. Or caused a blockage? Has he been in contact with other birds to catch something from them?
Is there any chance that he could of ingested any bits of plastics, rope, or metal?
I hope he is ok.
Hmmm, lack of droppings is a little worrying
Problem with birds, by the time you notice something is wrong they are usually quite sick. Masters at deception.
Good luck at the vets.

Are the black droppings fresh or are they dry? It's normal for them to be black when they dry, but if they are pitch black fresh out of the bird that means he could be bleeding in his stomach or intestines. Digested blood is black and fresh black poop probably means blood.
I know you'd like to think that the organic fiber meal or whatnot has helped, and maybe it has, but the bottom line is that there is obviously a very serious problem with Tango and these sorts of things don't often go away without medical help.

Please try Aloe Vera detox formula, or just plain aloe vera. It comes in a bottle in liquid form. You can get it at health food stores. Mix the aloe vera with baby chick formula and use a hand feeding syringe to give it to your bird. This is a life saver for so many problems and illnesses. It detoxes his system and is soothing and healing. It is organic and you cant over dose. You can just give the plain aloe vera after a few hand feedings. This has saved a lot of sick parrots. The aloe vera detox formula will help to clean out any toxins your IRN may be dealing with. You should notice an immediate improvement. Use the aloe vera detox formula first. Then follow up with just plain aloe vera added to food and water. When vets have given up on a sick bird, this aloe vera treatment has brought them back. It worked for our Luna and I still give it to her routinely to keep her healthy.
Hi Leo,
I hope Tango is over the worst of what ever is wrong. The Aloe Vera is a natural organic juice extracted from the pulp of the plant. Aloe Vera is known as the miracle plant becouse it has strong healing and soothing properties. It is also called the Burn plant. It relieves the pain of burns and protects against infection. When taken internally, it is healing and you can not over dose with this. So give Tango as much as you can get down him and at least three times a day for two or three days.
there is also a Alo Vera detox formula, that I give our Luna every six monthes. It helps remove toxins from your birds system. It helps reduce liver and kidney toxins. And after the detox treatment I give Luna just plain organic Aloe vera juice twice a week. When Luna was injured the vet treated her for shock and pain and sent her home. I hand fed her with baby chick formula and put the aole vera detox formula in it. And I still give her the plain aloe vera juice and the vet couldn't believe how she has healed and is so healthy so far. I really believe this is what helped our Luna survive her injury. I hope this information will help get Tango on the road to recovery and used routinely it can help keep him healthy. Aloe vera is not an expensive item and a jar goes a long way. You will need to get the aloe vera detox formula and the plain organic aloe vera. You can find it in health food stores.

Hi Leo
The Aloe vera leaf or aloe vera juice is OK to give to Tango. It is a natural organic food suppliment that won't do harm. But if Tango is showing signs of not stabilizing or staying better, you need to get him to a vet on an emergancy visit. By the time a bird acts sick, they can often be too weak to recover . So time is important. In an emergancy, vets will see your pet first and then work out the payment arrangements. We are all hanycapped in detecting illness with our parrot, since they mask or cover up that they are sick. So when they actually act sick, they are very ill and need emergancy treatment. The Indian Ringnecks are hardy and strong and not usually ones to get sick easily. I hope Tango will recover from whatever he is dealing with.

You really, really need to get Tango to a vet ASAP. Even if it something he can't recover from, the vet may be able to give him something to help in case Tango is suffering. He could have been sick for a while and hiding it from you. But I can't stress enough how much this bird needs to be seen by a vet.
the vet said he just cought a flue and has dierrhare...
he gave him some med but i m not sure weather to give him...the doctor seems to be a cheap doctor who just give aspirin to any patient who has head ache, he is expensive though...
i dont know the med name, anyway, my gut feeling said, don give!!
i give him ginger honey solution and the organic fiber at night...

Hi Leo,
I really hope the vet that saw your baby knows for sure that Tango just has diahrea. Most of the time they do a lab test to be sure of what your bird is suffering from. But your baby can become dehydrated fast from diahrea. If Tango has diahrea, the aloe vera can certainly help him to get better. It won't hurt him. But if the diahrea is caused from a virus or infection, it can just get worse and weaken him. Most avian vets will weigh your parrot to see if he is getting under weight. Weight loss is one way they tell if there is something wrong. I hope you don't think I am being a bother. I just want to help in any way I can. And I hope you and your little guy get through this. And there is a happy ending.

you are not a bother at all, and don't ever say or even think about it...because none of member here are...
i really think i just waste my money on that vet,...well tango is like normal, but the dropping is watery sometimes the water is chalky...his apatite down alot...and i just touch the breast bone, last time, he was really fat, now, i can touch a little bit of sharpness on the breast bone...he is losing weight...
im really worried !!!
but his apatite for bread and sunflower seed has not gone down, he still crave for those treat and willng to do trick for those treat...
only for pelet...is it posible that he is sick of it and need a little shift of main menu?
aniway, some of his dropping in the cage was quiet okay, some normal, some not...
if i took him out, the 1st dropping after come out from the cage is normal, but the following are not...
lauren, if i was not wrong, you mentioned in the other post saying u have a parot guide bird that shows the bird dropping picture...
if it is not a bother, can you help me post the picture of the dropping please...i think im hopeless, the vet is not any help,...please...

Either he is sick
OR
I was thinking. Birds can get stressed.
I wonder if he was really really stressed while you were gone for a month + now that you are back he is relaxing and maybe still uptight.
He could be sick though.
But i would say that could be a lil possibility.
Since it happened when you got home.
Just a thought.

OMG How did I miss this thread?? I didn't tango is in bad condition.. Is he doing better now? I will pray for his recovery, wish I can do more than that...
Isn't there any other vet? You should look for a better vet, there must be another one, ask your friend who owns pet or anyone who knows about the location of vet in singapore.

there are alot of vets... but most of them only take cat and dogs...
today i went to another vet...he said may be the weather is too hot and it make tango drink alot of water,..then he full of water and refuse to eat much...
he said better to go for lab test...but it would be too costly, i got to find more money before proceeding futhur...
anyway,i feed him with a slice of whole meal bread today, and he likes it...the dropping slightly improve...
though,some are still watery...thanks alot
